Kanto

The Kanto region is located in the eastern part of Japan. It includes the major cities of Tokyo and Yokohama. This part of Japan is the most populous area in the country and probably a place many of you will visit on your first trip to Japan.

This core region of Japan has a lot to offer to tourists. There are many things to do in the area, both in Tokyo and Yokohama, but also in many smaller areas around the cities.

Some of these include exploring the temples of Nikko or Kamakura, taking a walk through the Hakone National Park, or hiking up Mount Takao.

This is probably the area that foreign tourists are most familiar with. Many arrive in Japan by landing in Tokyo and exploring the city and the surrounding area.

In these articles, we will tell you all about the city, its attractions, and hidden gems!
